Barbara Alicja Jereczek-Fossa M.D., Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Milan, Italy, Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, Director of the School of Specialization in Radiation Oncology and Chair of the BSc Degree for Radiographers of the University of Milan.

Prof. Jereczek-Fossa is an active member of many national and international scientific societies,  committees, and editorial boards. Vice-President of Scientific Committee of Fondazione IEO-CCM, Core Faculty member of the ESO (European School of Oncology), ESTRO School (European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology), ESTRO course director for the Combined Drug Radiation Treatment, Chair of the ESTRO National Societies Committee. Mentor for > 50 MD, MSc and specialization theses.

Her main research and clinical interests include urological malignancies, breast cancer, combined modality approach, high precision radiotherapy, oligometastatic cancer, and new prognostic and predictive factors. Prof. Jereczek-Fossa is the author of over 220 peer-reviewed scientific papers and 6 book chapters (H-index 34, over 4600 citations) and speaks regularly at international conferences and teaching events.
