CyberKnife® Radiosurgery for AVMs: Using High-Definition Rotational Angiographic Imaging

This webinar aims to emphasize the essential technical aspects of Radiosurgery for AVMs, and to highlight the inclusion of precise angiographic information that may likely help in better patient outcomes with the CyberKnife® System.

Dr. Aditya Gupta, Director of Neurosurgery and CNS Radiosurgery, Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon, Delhi NCR, India

Dr. Gupta is a Neurosurgeon, a graduate of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He was later selected to become part of the faculty and remained as Associate Professor of Neurosurgery till 2009. Thereafter, he co-founded the Institute of Neurosciences at Medanta, where he worked until mid-2016 as Additional Director, Neurosurgery. He is currently the President-Elect of the Indian Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery.

Dr. Gupta has a keen interest in Radiosurgery spanning 2 decades, and among his other areas of interest are: brain tumor microsurgery, DBS surgery for movement disorders, and surgery for brain aneurysms and AVMs. He has more than 40 scientific publications, chapters in books and is an invited speaker in national and international meetings.

Dr. Fariselli is chair of the Radiotherapy unit in Carlo Besta Neurological Institute in Milan, Italy. She has been involved in multiple trials on brain tumors of the European Organization of Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC).  She is co-author of guidelines on SRS applications. Dr. Fariselli is the former President of the Skull base Italian society and is currently President of the International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society.
