Unsolicited Idea Submissions Policy

Accuray Incorporated, together with our affiliates (“Accuray”), do not accept, consider, or review, unsolicited ideas, works, information, concepts, techniques, suggestions, proposals, comments, or materials, including without limitation for services or technologies, new or improved products or devices, product or service enhancements, processes, advertising campaigns, promotions, marketing plans, or new product or service names (collectively, “Submissions”). Please do not submit, send, or provide any Submissions in any form to Accuray or any of its employees or contractors.

The purpose of our policy is to avoid any potential confusion, misunderstandings, or disputes about the legal rights to any of Accuray’s products, services, technologies, advertising, promotions, marketing strategies, or content.

Terms Governing Submissions

If, despite our request that you not send us your Submissions, you still submit them to Accuray, the following terms shall apply to your Submissions, regardless of what your communication states.

You agree that:

Accuray will have no obligation to keep the Submissions confidential.
Your Submissions and their contents along with any potential or related intellectual property rights will automatically become the property of Accuray, to the extent permitted by law. Accuray may use, copy, redistribute, and disclose the Submissions and their contents for any purpose and in any way on an unrestricted basis, without compensation to you or any other person or party.
If such transfer of intellectual property is not permitted under applicable laws, then you agree to grant Accuray, including its successors and assigns, an unrestricted, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, commercialize, perform, modify, transmit, and distribute the Submissions in any medium and agree that Accuray is free to use them for any purpose domestically and internationally, including disseminating or using the Submissions for any commercial or non-commercial purposes in any medium at our sole discretion without any compensation to you or any other party or acknowledgment of you or any other party as the source of the submission.
Accuray shall have no obligations concerning the Submissions, including no obligations to review the Submissions, return any materials, or acknowledge the receipt of the Submissions.

Submitting Feedback

While we cannot accept unsolicited ideas, Accuray welcomes feedback on our existing services and products. We welcome and thank you for your willingness to help us improve our services and products, so we can identify places where we can improve and how to better serve you.

If you want to send us your feedback, please only provide specific feedback on our existing business and do not include submissions that our policy prohibits.

Feedback Policy

Any feedback you provide will be deemed to be non-confidential and non-proprietary. Furthermore, by submitting the feedback to us, you hereby agree to grant Accuray the unrestricted right to use and redistribute such information on an unrestricted basis, without any compensation to you or another party or acknowledgment of you or any other party as the source of the submission.

By entering information on Accuray’s websites, you understand and agree that your personal information may be processed, transferred, and/or stored in countries other than the country in which you reside, including the United States, which may have different data protection laws than the country in which you reside or work. Please do not submit any information you do not wish to have processed, transferred, and/or stored in the United States or any other country that is not the one in which you reside or work.
