Accuray Statement
As an organization that is committed to improving lives in all that we do, Accuray is deeply troubled by the escalating crisis in Ukraine. We strongly condemn any violence or actions that cause loss of life.
Our top priority is the safety and security of our employees and their families in Ukraine and Russia. We are closely monitoring the situation to determine how we can further support their continued health and well-being.
At the same time, Accuray stands united with the global healthcare community on the importance of safeguarding access to healthcare for those in need. While we firmly oppose the Russian military invasion of Ukraine, we will continue to support the care of cancer patients in both countries and their efforts to obtain the essential care they require. As a global citizen we believe it is our responsibility to do everything we can to help ensure that cancer patients worldwide have access to critical, life-saving radiotherapy treatments and services in the countries in which we operate, always in compliance with current international sanctions. We will continue our humanitarian support in Ukraine and the affected areas of this conflict by assisting our distribution customer care partners and the global radiation oncology community to help minimize any disruptions in cancer care during this time.
Our hearts and thoughts are with our employees, our partners and our customers. Their continued daily work on behalf of patients is an inspiration and a lesson for us all.
