MATCH Compares Markerless Tracking Technologies
Delivering effective and safe lung cancer stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) requires technology that can account for lung tumor motion. Both fiducial-based and markerless tracking algorithms currently exist, with markerless being a focus of innovation, investment and research in the field. These tracking algorithms, however, have not been benchmarked using a common, prospective measurement methodology. The American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) designed the MArkerless Lung Target Tracking CHallenge (MATCH), an AAPM Grand Challenge, to compare the precision and accuracy of existing markerless tracking algorithms.

Lee Goddard completed his Masters in Physics at Cardiff University in Wales. After moving to New York he obtained his Certificate of Professional Achievement in Medical Physics from Columbia University in 2013. He then completed his residency in Therapeutic Medical Physics at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, where he has remained, obtaining Board Certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics in 2016.

Andrea has worked at Accuray for 16 years, starting in R&D, then managed global physics support, first for TomoTherapy, and then for both TomoTherapy and CyberKnife after the acquisition of TomoTherapy by Accuray. Andrea joined the product management 8 years ago, and manages product strategy for the TomoTherapy and Radixact treatment delivery platforms.

Dylan has worked at Accuray for about 10 years, initially working on the Training team before moving over to R&D working in TomoTherapy development.
