By the end of this course, participants will be able to describe and explain the key principles of artificial intelligence algorithms and their importance within medical imaging and radiation oncology workflows. They will gain the ability to evaluate how AI tools are integrated into clinical radiation oncology, including applications such as segmentation, adaptive workflows, and predictive modelling. Furthermore, participants will be equipped to assess the ethical, legal, and organizational challenges associated with deploying AI in real-world radiation oncology settings, applying critical thinking to navigate these complexities.
