When you treat a patient with the X-Sight Lung method (1-View), the system continues to make images with both camera's during treatment.

Is there an option to disable 1 camera?

If not, do you change the x-ray parameters to minimize patient dose?

(we use the cyberknife M6)

Thank you in advance,

Erik,…

Erik,

You cannot disable the imaging. What is important is that during planning, an ITV incorporated into the images for treatment and should be followed to be sure that the motion area of treatment of the tumor is not monitored in both images.

Eric, I for got to include that the ITV should be followed in the camera that is not locked onto the actual tumor image Camera. It is not tracking the actual tumor but the area that the tumor is showing its most superior and inferior movement

Erik, In theory, we do not…

Erik, In theory, we do not need the second camera during one-view tracking. I believe the console software requires certain quality of each image which may restrict you to tune the parameters too low. Please keep me updated with your findings.

Thanks.
